Avon Walk to End Breast Cancer is Canceled

You read that right. The Avon Walk to End Breast Cancer has canceled all 2018 walks.

As someone who has been a part of the walk for 9 years, this came as a shock to me and many of my teammates on the KRTY team.

On the other hand, the walks are very expensive events, from insurance to equipment, massive marketing campaigns and walker coaches.

They say that there will be a new fundraising feature coming in the spring of 2018, so we shall wait and see what comes next!
